Pre employment screening or a background check is a verification process of a prospective employees application. It is a method of investigating the past of an individual for the purpose of recruitment and employment. This helps to judge the validity of information furnished by the prospective employee.

Pre employment background checks have proved to be more beneficial and effective in comparison to personal interviews and information provided by resumes and reference Letters.
