Founder

After founding the Atlantis Company, a major security management services firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Brian purchased Corporate Information Services and another firm also engaged in security background information. He merged these two firms to form SearchFirst Information Services, doubling their capacity, and took the new firm national. Prior to Atlantis and SearchFirst, Brian served for many years as president of a large security company headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. He has a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Baldwin Wallace College. He has served as Chair of the local chapter of the American Society for Industrial Security and is a current member of ASIS International. In addition, he has served or is  serving in security capacities as a state task force member, college instructor, security director, and operations director (many and various private and public groups, security task forces, and organizations).

Kay McKenzie is the Senior Business Manager for SearchFirst Information Services of Florida. Kay has been a leader of SearchFirst for over 20 years; Kay is an assertive “hands-on” Manager, who actively seeks and welcomes all challenging goals that may come her way.   In this position, Kay manages and oversees all aspects of the company’s financial obligations, arrangement, and organizations as well as the responsibility to recognize and reinforce strong performance in employees. Kay believes it is the management’s job to identify and encourage improvement where it is needed; this begins with setting a high standard from the beginning with open communication between employees and management. Kay is an innovative professional with many years of progressive experience within the background screening industry. Kay has the ability and skills to drive business growth, capitalize on new revenue potential, manage all aspects of daily business operations as well as providing expertise in client relations,  marketing, financial management, supervision, motivation and mentoring.

Kay is a proactive leader who can facilitate a team approach to achieve organizational objectives, increase productivity and enhance employee morale. Kay is a member of Central Pinellas Chamber of Commerce, NAPBS, and Society for Human Resource Management.

Debra A. Robinson

Compliance Manager

Debra has been with SearchFirst Information Services, Inc. since August of 2000. Debra is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the public records, research, compliance, verification and report management departments. Debra has worked diligently to improve the quality and accuracy of criminal record results for clients. In addition to overseeing daily operations of production departments, Debra works with the management to identify and quickly resolve any issues. With a history of supervising the production of the public records department, Debra can effectively communicate changes and new processes between operations to develop the highest quality product and excellent customer service to clients. Debra utilizes in-depth knowledge of SearchFirst’s products and programs to coordinate client account activities while providing the highest level of customer satisfaction. As Compliance Manager, Debra ensures SearchFirst adheres to all local, state and federal laws regarding the reporting of consumer reports. Debra provides top-notch professional support services, providing personal interaction, and resolving varied client inquiries while providing the highest level of customer service satisfaction.
